Tawang is a town and a district by the same name. It is located in the north-western part of the state of Arunachal Pradesh. Located above an elevation in the Himalayas, Tawang is an international border district along Chinese and Bhutanese borders. You can reach Tawang from Dirang through the beautiful Sela pass and Sela Lake. At Tawang, the medieval-century Tawang Monastery is a must visit place. But for a visit you have to acquire an Inner Line Permit (ILP) from the nearest city Tezpur in Assam.

2. DUDHSAGAR WATERFALLS:
This wonder route on the border between Goa and Karnataka is magnificent. This railway route criss-crosses the Western Ghats. The route passes through Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary and Mollem National Park. As the waterfalls are seasonal, you must visit the place during the monsoons.

3. KEIBUL LAMJAO NATIONAL PARK:
Located in the Loktak Lake in Bishnupur district of Manipur, it is the world’s only floating National Park. This National Park is famous for phumdis- floating decomposed plant materials. You can also spot the endangered Sangai or the dancing deer, the only place in the world this species can be found.

4. VEMBANAD LAKE:
Vembanad is a beautiful lake spreading over three district in Kerala viz. Ernakulam, Kottayam and Alappuzha. Take a boat ride through this route, you can have a glimpse and can realise why Kerala is called the God’s own country.

5. JAMMU-SRINAGAR RAILWAY ROUTE:
This is not a place as such. It is a transportation route. The newly built connectivity infrastructure is a result of years of hardwork and money. You can truly enjoy the beauty of Kashmir Valley by traveling through this route.
